Being a four-star hotel I had high expectations of this one, and to be honest the hotel Las Dalias did not disappoint and holds its place well in the league of Costa Adeje hotels.
You will find 404 rooms at the hotel, on nine floors, and each is appointed very comfortably just as you would expect, with air-conditioning for those warmer nights, not to mention a safe, mini-bar, satellite/cable TV and of course the ubiquitous telephone. Double room usually have twin beds, and this hotel is no exception, but you can get a double bed if you ask for one.
The hotel's location is actually amongst the best of all Costa Adeje hotels in my opinion, some 500 metres from a great each but also very handy for the local shops and bars, which means you can have a change of scenery and eat out even if you are staying on an all-inclusive basis, as you can at this hotel.
The food in this hotel matches or exceeds that in the other Costa Adeje hotels of its class – actually I would say it exceeds it based on my opinion and that of the majority of reviews I have read. There is a good variety and everything on offer is prepared to a high standard. A pool bar for the daytime is supplemented by a buffet restaurant for the evenings. Oh, and there is an amusing little poolside barbecue for those lazy sunny afternoons. It is a great hit with the British, whose love of barbecues is not matched by their opportunity to partake in them back home.
If you have a phobia about swimming pools, choose one of the Costa Adeje hotels that has less water than Las Dalias, because there are two impressive pools here and also children's pools too. The kids will also love their playground and the mini-club. For all but the youngest of kids, and also adults who are feeling a little sporty, this hotel, unusually, has a sand-floor sports area where you can play tennis, football or that most uplifting of spectator sports – beach volleyball.
Let's take a look at what some of this hotel's customers had to say:
“The hotel is centred near everything, shops, supermarket and bars and restaurants.”
“Good selection of drinks available on all inclusive”
“The food is outstanding and the staff will bend over backwards to deal with any requests”
“My two kids age 13, 15 loved it they made lots of friends and enjoyed every day here”
“All of us would not hesitate to go back to Las Dalias.”
“The entertainment was good too, with a bird demonstration including eagles and owls”
All in all, Las Dalias can certainly hold its head up high as most reviews are good and many are excellent.
